Gynecomastia Plastic Surgery - Is It The Right Thing To Do?

Gynecomastia is a cosmetic condition, suffering from a large part of the male population. In fact, experts agree that somewhere between 30-40% of men suffer from Gynecomastia to some extent.

Gynecomastia is manifested by deposition of excess fat in the male breast area. This makes the male breast appear too fat and bloated and often causes the nipples look puffy and distorted. In many cases, gynecomastia, which is commonly known as man boobs is sopronounced that the male breast of the female breast seems familiar. While this poses no known health risks, it destroys self-esteem of people who have them. The reason is very simple: Most women are too far from man boobs to be attractive.

One of the most popular treatments for this problem is gynecomastia plastic surgery. In this operation, the excess fat is removed from the male breast by liposuction and the breast is surgically altered to appear flatter. This operation is performed by a plastic surgeon.

If it is done properly, this operation can have excellent results. But it is advisable?

In my view, the answer is a flat NO!

Here are the main reasons for this are:

1. This operation is very expensive, usually $ 5000 or more.

2. This operation has many risks, such as scars on his chest, bruises on his chest, staining, and asymmetry between the two sides of the chest.

3. It includes apainful and long period of convalescence.

4. There are a number of alternative treatments, which only a fraction of the price of this operation and have produced remarkable results.

All in all, the operation may be the way to go, but only after you tried the other gynecomastia treatments.
